*Non-exempt players who qualify through regional qualifying
*A Canadian Amateur champion
*Players given exemptions by the Royal Canadian Golf Association
All 156 players tee up on Thursday and Friday with the 70 lowest scores and ties after Friday's round remaining to resume stroke play until a winner emerges on Sunday. In the case of a tie on Sunday, there will be a sudden death playoff.
The spectator friendly layout accommodates grandstands for spectators around each hole.
Attention to detail in preparation for the upcoming Canadian Open includes perfectly monitoring height of the green, height of the cut on the fairways, how firm the greens, fairways and tees are and fine tuning of the bunkers.
Louis Oosthuizen emerged from the British Open 2010 as the winner.
The course at St. Georges Golf and Country Club is a par 70. Some contenders to watch included Luke Donald who tied for 11th at the 2010 British Open.
Sean O'hair tied for seventh at the British Open and was considered one of the top drivers on the Tour but this year, the Swede takes the victory.
