The Glen Abbey community in the heart of Oakville is located:

between Upper Middle Road and the QEW highway and

between Dorval Drive and Bronte Rd. (as new areas have been assimilated into Glen Abbey)

The population of Glen Abbey is about 22,000 residents.

Oakville Skateboard Park

There are several places to skateboard in and around Oakville Ontario. Skateparks are relatively new and there are several in the area.

Visit Oakville's Indoor Skateboard Park:

Admission is $6 per visit, $10 for a Day Pass, or $50 for a 10-visit pass.
Open daily April through September - check for current dates/times.

Another newer skateboard park in Glen Abbey:

Glen Abbey Skateboard Park
1415 Third Line, just south of Upper Middle Road
This is the new and third Glen Abbey Skateboard Park. Oakville's third outdoor skateboard park will replace the Westoak Trails Skateboard Park that was closed last July.

The new park operates as of the end of June 2011.
  • 3,500 square foot park built on a concrete pad
  • Includes several ramps, grind rails, a planter, grind box, and jersey barrier

Skateboarders can also visit the Iroquois Ridge Skateboard facility with 3,500 square feet located at 1051 Glenashton Drive, just west of Eighth Line.
