A great new website for kids called Fit For A Feast recently launched in Glen Abbey: "FitForAFeast.com" with hundreds of pages of ideas and videos for kids activities, outdoor games, fitness, nutrition and sports activities.
87% of 5-year olds in Glen Abbey participate in regular physical activity and 58% of 5 year olds in Glen Abbey already participate in team sports.From the Glen Abbey Recreational Center (Glen Abbey Community Centre), local parks, walking and biking trails, skating rinks, indoor and outdoor soccer facilities, indoor and outdoor pools and splashpads, Oakville Gymnastics Club, to numerous nearby events and activities including a visit to one of the local farms or going for a hike or walk on the many trails, there is plenty for kids to do in Glen Abbey.

Glen Abbey offers many high quality recreational opportunities for kids as well.
The kids playground and baseball diamond of Sixteen Hollow Park on West Oak Trails Blvd. near Upper Middle Road is a popular destination for families and also hosts a splash pad.
The community centres offer racquet sports programs such as classes and opportunities to learn Tennis, Squash and even Badminton. Visit the Glen Abbey Rec Centre for details.
The new home of the Oakville Soccer Club is the Pine Glen Soccer Centre which just recently opened it's doors to enthusiastic soccer players. The building is over 100,000 square feet and allows year round soccer on FIFA class artificial turf across several fields. Located at Third Line and Pine Glen Road.
